· Pronunciation is a difference between words with the letter r and the
letter t, generally r and t letters are not pronounced in American English like

American English letter ‘t’ is dropped to pronounce after the letter n, for
example, ‘centre’ is called cenre.
· Vocabulary- There are things we call using different terms in
America and British, for example, Pants (American) - Trousers (British),
Elevator- Lift, Cookies - Biscuit, Apartment-Flat, Line - Queue, Parking Lot-
Car Park, respectively.
· Spellings-The most commonly used in the editing process is
spelling, most words ending in ‘our ‘ in British is without ‘u’ in
America, for example, humour is humor, colour, color, behaviour is behavior.
The letter “re” in British is ‘er ‘ in American English for example Centre is

American English like Organise is Organize and Realise is Realize.
